Refund policy

At Neighbour Baker, every item is baked fresh to order. As our products are perishable and customized, we follow fixed policies regarding refunds, replacements, and cancellations. Please read the policy carefully.
1. No Cancellations After Order Confirmation
We bake only on order and start preparation once we receive 100% advance payment. Orders once placed and confirmed cannot be cancelled.
If you need changes, we may be able to assist with:
Delivery date change (subject to availability)
Delivery address change
These changes must be requested in a timely manner with regards to the delivery date.
2. Non-Refundable and Non-Exchangeable Items
All items sold by Neighbour Baker are handcrafted, and made fresh. Therefore: All products are non-refundable and non-exchangeable once delivered.
3. Refunds (Only in Exceptional Cases)
A refund is provided only if: There is a wrong item delivery from our end, or the item is significantly damaged at the time of delivery. Clear photo or video proof of the damaged/incorrect item is required. The packaging and product should be intact and unconsumed for verification.
If approved:
Refunds (full or delivery-charge-only, depending on the issue) are processed immediately to your original payment method. The time taken for the amount to reflect in your bank or wallet will be 24 to 48 hours via the payment provider you have made the payment from.
4. Replacements (Damaged or Incorrect Items Only)
You may request a replacement only if:
The order arrives damaged, The product delivered is incorrect, Or the item is not in acceptable condition upon delivery.
Conditions for replacement eligibility:
You must report the issue immediately at the time of delivery. Clear photo or video proof of the damaged/incorrect item is required. The packaging and product should be intact and unconsumed for verification.
If the issue is verified, we will either:
Deliver a replacement at no extra cost, OR Issue a full refund (processed immediately after communication).
5. Time Frame to Report Issues
Since our products are perishable, all concerns must be raised:
Immediately at delivery or Within 1 hour of receiving the product. Complaints made after this period may not be eligible for replacement or refund.
6. Delivery Issues
If your order could not be delivered due to an incorrect address, unavailability of the recipient, or refusal to accept the order:
The order will be marked as delivered/attempted. No refund or replacement will be provided.
